To keep it short and simple there is a small difference between a clan and having a KKG.
A character is created with the KKG from whatever rank they start out as. Unlike clans other members cannot have this KKG until if it becomes a clan, then other members can join. People with a bloodline can be spread out between any village they feel, and are not subject to restrictions set by clan leaders.
