Bio: Shounin's parents were both murdered when he was less than a year old. He was taken in by a family, by this time he was a very sickly child. Shounin was given his name as a beacon of hope, Shounin literally means Saint. The family hoped for a miracle to make him stronger, and not die of sickness. The family that adopted him were nomads, always moving. That family eventually was killed and Shounin was taken in by a ninja who trained him.

How Shounin came to be:
When Shounin was almost 4 years old the family traveled to the Oni village, and their graves. Rouge ninjas jumped the family and tried to rob them less than a mile from the village. The father tried to fight them off, in doing so he stabbed one of the rouge ninja. The rouge ninjas, enraged by this, exacted revenge by killing the entire family. In the brawl Shounin had crawled under the cart that they had traveled with. He saw who he thought were his real mother and father murdered in front of him. Shounin snuck into the village when the coast was clear. For almost a week Shounin lived by stealing food from houses or unwatched carts. One day when he reached for an unguarded piece of bread he let out a loud yelp, a dagger had been shoved into his hand, pinning it down. "Thieves are killed, you know..." He yanked the dagger out, blood spilled out of Shounin's hand. The ninja bandaged Shounin's hand up and carried him to his house. From then on the ninja was known as sensei to Shounin. Sensei raised Shounin in the way of the ninja, training him whenever he didnt have a mission or duty himself. Shounin was 16 when it happened. He remembered his last name, Han. He ran to tell his sensei the news. Shounin was the one surprised in the end. His sensei already knew. Sensei was of the Han line also, his uncle infact. "I knew you the moment I saw you that day. You look like my brother completely. My true name is Yurushi Han." From that point on Shounin learned not only the use of weaponry, but also Chakra. Yurushi explained how to channel chakra, as well as how to weaponize it. Among these uses of chakra he told Shounin about secret jutsu that only his family's descendants knew how to use. On Shounin's 20th birthday Yurushi took him to take his exams, to become a true ninja.
