Genkou is a thin young boy with white hair, neck-length hair and amber-colored eyes. He wears a forehead protector on his forhead and uses an all gray ninja uniform, including the distinctive gray flak jacket of Kirigakure ninja, with the variation of having a zipper and one pouch on the higher right chest. He also carries three swords on his back.

Personality: Genkou has a calm personality, never letting what others say affect his beliefs and pride. He prides himself on being an Jinchuuriki and a ninja of one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations. He believes that Jinchuuriki, like himself, should always be treated with respect. He sometimes talks to Rokubi within his mind when bored or has nothing else to do. Though his friendship with his Bijuu is closer than he thinks. As a ninja of Kirigakure, he shows respect to his village and fellow teammates. He possesses incredible self-control of his emotions. He tends to only be surprised when opponents proved more powerful or skilled than he had expected, and even complimenting his opponents at times on their abilities. Genkou is very intelligent, exceedingly sharp and observant to any situation at hand, as he was rarely surprised or caught off guard.

When in battle, he tends to show mercy and will only kill them if necessary. If his opponent is showing any threat to his family, friends, or his village, he will show no mercy and will fight at his FULL potential.

Speed & Reflexes: Unlike most ninja his age, Genkou can run twice the speed than a average Jounin. His fast speed allows him to dodge attacks at a much quicker pace.

Chakra Control: Genkou has great chakra control, allowing him to perform jutsu with little chakra drain.

Ninjutsu Mastery: Genkou utilizes the Fuuton and Suiton Elements, which he has both mastery. For instance, Suiton jutsu such as Water Release: Great Dragon Water Bullet, only drains about 8% of his chakra reserves. Since he has been using both elements for quite a while, he is about to perform powerful combos with great ease.

Swordsmanship: As a swordsman, Genkou specializes in swordplay. Possessing a unique fighting style, Genkou holds his three blades in both hands and one in his mouth. Genkou is very skilled with this, spinning around like a buzz saw and overwhelming his opponent with all of the varying swings, giving him great versatility. When he finds an opening, Genkou can impale his opponent with one of his swords in an instant. Only a Skilled Kenjutsu user or Uchiha can read his sword work. He is also capable of cutting through almost anything when he flows his wind chakra through his blades. He can also use these blades as mid-range projectiles, and coat them with wind chakra to slice right through the target.

Jinchuuriki Abilities: Like other jinchūriki, Genkou has the ability to create a chakra cloak by drawing on part of his demon's power. Because he has a strong relationship with his own tailed beast, it acts as his partner in battle, disturbing his chakra to dispel genjutsu. Genkou also is able to produce ink from his mouth, which he mainly uses when he lacks of regular writing tool or to blind his opponent.

Jinchuriki

Genkou is the jinchūriki of the Eight-Tailed Giant Ox. Hachibi's presence inside Genkou allows him to access the demon ox's massive supply of chakra that he can use. As a additional bonus, Genkou is able to produce ink from his mouth. It should be noted that, unlike Naruto's constant battle for control over his body with the Nine-Tails, Genkou is technically never subjugated to this. Genkou has semi-control over his Bijuu, however, Hachibi sometimes tries to force Genkou to use his power in order to preserve his own life.



Jinchuuriki Transformations:


Initial Transformation: By simply tapping into the Eight-Tails' chakra, Genkou's body begins its initial transformation. Following this, his nails and canine teeth grow longer and sharper and his white hair will grow longer and spikier, as it stands on end. This form also increases his speed to such levels that nothing short of a fully matured Sharingan is able to track his movements. He can also use the chakra as a shockwave, sometimes merely thrusting his fist out to send a rush of energy at his opponent. [Full Control]

One-Tailed Transformation: In this form, all the physical traits of the initial jinchuuriki form are present and slightly altered. This form also comes with an additional bonus: the red chakra becomes a complete shield around his body, in the shape of a , complete with a tail. Once activated, his canine teeth and nails grow long and sharp. The cloak itself gives Genkou paws of chakra around his hands and horns on his head. He can also create an additional set of horns on his forearms to use for his Lariat attack. The chakra around his body grants him some measure of protection, enough that ordinary attacks like Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique will have no effect. [Full Control]

Two-Tailed Transformation: Genkou's physical characteristics match the first two forms, but his nails and canines grow larger. The chakra shield's only difference between the one-tailed and the two-tailed transformation is the extra chakra tail that forms. Although his physical traits remain the same, his physical abilities increase however. [Full Control]

Three-Tailed Transformation: The three-tailed form looks similar to the two-tailed form, but with the Eight-Tails' features becoming more pronounced. The amount of chakra produced from this form is devastating, such that the air around Genkou begins to sting others. With the standard chakra shield's protection and attack power, a simple punch has the power to destroy a tree and a long line of trees behind it. [Full Control]

Four-Tailed Transformation: In this form, dark chakra will encase Genkou, granting him a ox-like appearance. Everything from his face to his chakra tails become completely solid, his eyes lose its characteristics, and become empty glowing circles. Hooves form around his feet, the horns on his head elongate, and a final "chin horn" resembling that of the Eight-tails appears. The chakra shield, while being solid, has a defensive power that is so great that even powerful weapons and large explosions have no effect. Finally, Genkou has the ability to charge a concentrated ball of chakra and fire it in the form of a massive blast of chakra with such force, that it can destroy three Rashomon gates. Full Transformation: In this form, he takes on the appearance of the Eight-Tails itself, rather than just a cloak, taking on the appearance of a huge ox-like creature with eight octopus tentacles as its tails, and four horns on his head, one of which is broken. He is able to create a huge sphere of chakra in front of his mouth similar to Naruto's Four-Tailed Fox Menacing Ball. Instead of a concentrated ball of chakra, he releases it as a widespread blast causing destruction on a large scale. However, even in his full form, he does not possess an near-invincible shroud like the Nine-Tails, so even with his immense size, powerful attacks such as Chidori Sharp Spear and Amaterasu, prove effective against him. Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Unlike other clone techniques, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person. In the anime, Sasuke Uchiha claims that the Sharingan can distinguish clones from the original, however various events throughout the series seem to indicate that this is not the case, implying that the Sharingan was merely used to keep track of the original's movements.

The attack is straightforward, though, and can be easily seen through with the Sharingan. When using this attack, he creates either a chakra cloak or chakra bones, both in the form of bull's horns.

Description: To utilize this technique, Genkou will form hand seals, using chakra to guide accurate winds. He can then generate pillars of spiralling winds, or small tornados. Anything too close to this tornado will be thrown back, anything trapped within it will be torn to shreds. Additionally, the wind can be used to counter, or increase the potency of a fire technique.

Name: Suiton: Kirigakure [Hidden Mist Technique]

Description: This jutsu envelops the surrounding area in a dense mist, reducing visibility within the affected area. The density can be controlled by the user, allowing them to create a mist so thick that even they can't see through it. Though it can't fool the Byakugan, against the Sharingan it is a most effective technique. Due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

Name: Suiton: Mizu no Yaibi [Sword of Water]

Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like a normal blade. This sword can also go through most fire jutsu.

Name: Suiton: Mizurappa [Water Release: Violent Water Wave]

Description: Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and washes away the enemy. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases. Having many variations, this is a basic Water Release technique.

Name: Mizu Bushin no Jutsu [Water Clone Technique]

Description: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body. Additionally, water clones only have one-tenth of the original person's power, as stated by Haku. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.

Name: Suiton: Suiro [Water Release: Water Prison Technique]

Description: This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. Clones can be used in place of the actual person, provided that the clone is the one that performed the technique. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Neji Hyūga has been able to use his ability to release chakra from all of his pressure points simultaneously to disrupt the flow of chakra inside the prison and break free.

Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, it is stronger than steel as stated by Zabuza Momochi. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Even so, the target is still able to speak. When this technique is used on Tenten, she indicates that she cannot breathe, though other characters have not reported the same problem.


Name: Suiton: Bakusui Shoha [Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave]

Description: After spitting out a great volume of water from his mouth, the enemy is swallowed up by this advancing surge and crushed. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speed, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks, the amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used. When used with Kisame's enormous chakra, even dry wastelands will turn into an ocean. Afterwards, the excess water can presumably be used for additional water release jutsu.

Name: Suiton: Suigadan [Water Release: Water Fang Bullet]

Description: This jutsu creates a circle of crushing water spikes around the opponent. It is very difficult to evade, however it will also require a sufficient water source nearby the target, preferably right below it.

Name: Suiton: Goshokuzame [Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks]

Description: The user puts his hand on the surface of a body of water and a water shark comes out of each finger to strike the opponent in five consecutive attacks. These sharks can regenerate from surrounding water, making them difficult to destroy.

Name: Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsuyūdan [Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet]

Description: Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique takes the form of a giant, powerful dragon, created out of water. This jutsu needs forty-four hand seals, the highest amount of hand seals necessary to use a jutsu shown in the series so far. Another drawback to the technique is that it requires the user to be near a large body of water to complete the technique. However, Tobirama Senju was able to produce one without a pre-existing water source and with only one hand seal, which was a testament to his skill and one of the reasons why he was selected as Hokage.

This technique is very similar to Water Release: Water Shark Missile Technique, which also creates a creature out of water to crash it onto the opponent.

Description: This jutsu will gather a large amount of water to form a large spiraling stream of water. It can be guided to strike a target in a number of angles.

Name: Suiton: Suijinheki [Water Release: Water Encampment Wall]

Description: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. This wall of water is especially effective at stopping fire techniques. The wall can be formed from a preexisting water source or by spitting a protective stream of water from the mouth. In the manga the hand seal sequence for this jutsu ends in the same seal that activate the Byakugan, though Tobirama Senju only needs one to use this jutsu.

Name: Suiton: Suikōdan [Water Release: Water Shark Missile Technique]

Description: This technique forces water to attack the opponent in the form of a shark and is very similar to Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique, which also creates a creature out of water to crash it onto the opponent.

Name: Suiton: Suiben [Water Release: Water Whip]

Description: The user creates a whip made of water that can wrap around the opponent. The user can also funnel lightning chakra to shock anyone wrapped in it. This jutsu seems to be known by the Kirigakure Hunter-nin. This jutsu has been used against Utakata.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to summon a large amount of water. The water then transforms itself into the shape of a snake and crashes down on their enemy, literally swallowing them. After it has swallowed them it turns into a river that carries their enemy away.

Description: The user projects a stream of sticky, syrupy liquid which can be spit onto a surface to form an adhesive trap or onto a person to inhibit their mobility. Channeling chakra to one's feet allows one to walk upon it uninhibited.

Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex around the user. The water vortex acts both as a barrier and an attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious.

Description: This jutsu will produce a fairly powerful jet of water from the user's hand. Yamato used this technique to counter Kihō's Smoke Dragon technique during the final confrontation with Team Guren.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a torrent of water. Besides that, the user will be turned into water and lead his or her opponent into drowning.

Name: Suiton: Kokū no Jutsu [Water Release: Black Rain Technique]

Description: This jutsu creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil. This jutsu was first used to burn down Idate Morino's boat, after it was lit with fire.

History


Jinchuuriki Arc- A dark day indeed for the village of Kirigakure, when they finally discovered the mysteriously Eight-Tailed Giant Ox, Hachibi, rampaged toward Kirigakure. There were myths of a large slug hiding in the mountains of the Water Country. Not wanting any of the other nations to know, Kirigakure acted on its own, isolated temporarily from the rest of the world, to capture the un-identified Eight-Tailed Beast, and create another host for the Bijuu. When Hachibi attacked Kirigakure, the alarm was sounded as many ninjas ran out, every adult and every student came out to tame the beast. After five hours of fighting, they got weak and most of them were greatly wounded, but had managed to knock the demon unconcious. Knowing that the demon ox's power was to great to be controlled, they decided to seal the demon ox into a human vessel. After hearing of this info, Genkou's grandfather basically ran out and offered his one-year-old grandson, Genkou, to be the sacrificial vessel for Hachibi. Even though the sealing was a success, the Bijuu had cost large casualties in the Kirigakure Shinobi Army, but lucky for them, none of the other villages were informed of their attempt to tame the beast, so none of them knew that Kirigakure was temporarily weakened. Two months after his second birthday, his grandfather died of a sickness.

Childhood Arc- A lot of people eventually forgot of the inccident, but random Citizens however did know what happened, and the news soon spread once again, to more people before the Mizukage issued a decree that it was forbidden to tell Genkou of his 'condition'. The Mizukage managed to contain the information fast enough before it was all leaked out. Of course, Genkou still didn't know anything about this. All Genkou knew, was the since he was a child, he had been hearing a weird voice in his head every few months. The deep voice once said: "A secret power you have indeed.....but you have clue what it is……do you?" It was some time before he learned to drown out the voices at times, but continued to have weird dreams, ones that always included a giant shadowed monster in the distances of a vast ocean, or ones that induced giant octopus tails bursting from the water and coiling around Genkou. He never understood these dreams, however. To gain his village’s reconition, Genkou began to study in ninja arts so he can join the Kirigakure Ninja Academy when he turned eight.

Academy Arc- Genkou joined the Kirikagure Ninja Academy when he was 8. Genkou rather enjoyed his days as an academy student, having fun with his fellow class mates, learning about all the aspects of the shinobi world. He never really rather had a good taste in genjutsu, nor was he good at it. He did, however, rather excel at ninjutsu and kenjutsu. The teachers, noticing his frequent questions on Kenjutsu, offered him free lessons after every school day, which he accepted admirably. He became very skilled in kenjutsu to the point where he was in the process of developing his own style, with nudges from his teacher. As he was nearing the end of his academy days, he was already well trained in using one sword, and just beginning to use two. Genkou looked forward in his life, walking his way into the shinobi world as a Genin.

Genin Arc- Genkou, now 10 years old, had been teamed with two girls, which he didn't really like. He later on got used to it and sometimes tried to impress them with his "awesome" abilites. When his team went on their first B-Rank mission, they had to defeat a A-Rank Missing Nin. The ninja was skilled in lightning ninjutsu and weapontry, which wan't much of a downfall to Genkou. The ninja was able to defeat one of his teammates and wound their Jounin sensei. When the ninja was about to deliver the final blow on his teammate, Genkou intercepted the attack and was successfully able to kill the missing ninja with the help of their sensei. A month after his 12th birthday, he passed the Chuunin Exams and became a full active Chuunin.
