The Gift of Doujutsu Empty
PostSubject: The Gift of Doujutsu   The Gift of Doujutsu EmptyWed Mar 24, 2010 9:25 pm

Grabbing his Formal Hokage visor and dressing in the traditional robing, Akuma got ready for the meeting with the Kazekage. Escorted by ten of the best Anbu in Konoha it was not him they were protecting but rather the cargo. A cargo so precious. The gift of Doujutsu. Not even the elders knew of this treaty of sorts. The warm spring air bashing against his robes barely licking his skin. They set off. They walked through the forest, not stopping and ever being cautious.

When the grass broke to sand they felt a bit of relief. The blazing sun beat down on the ninja. They stopped for water and for rest. After an hour they continued on their way to Suna. After 12 hours of straight walking the finally saw the Village over the horizon. Approaching the gates they were greeted by many of the Suna Anbu for they knew how important the security was. Walking toward the mansion many eyes met that of Akuma's. Eyes of confusion and sometimes even spite.

Reaching the door of the mansion the most powerful ninja of all Suna answered the door himself.

Eiji allowed a peaceful grin to cross his lips, breaking his stern visage if only for a moment. His eyes were set on the sky. It was nearing dusk, the clouds were broken, and the color resembled that of a peach like it always did at that time of day. He stood atop his personal balcony outside his office, as was his usual evening retort before retiring to the comfort of his silk sheets. His daze was disrupted when a number of specks in the street below managed to catch his eye. It appeared to be a caravan, consisting of eleven people and a cloth shrouded wagon that creaked its way down what appeared to be a narrow crack from the height that Eiji stood at. It appears my company has arrived safely.

The kage didn't bother wasting his breath to form words. He had requested that his employees leave him in peace for the evening. His guest was the Kage of the Hidden Leaf come to meet him for reasons unstated. Although he doubted it was bad news, the reason for his visit was uncertain. He was wearing his casual attire, a button-up black linen shirt, with black slacks to match. He shouldn't mind my attire. Eiji thought to himself while opening the door to the spiraling hallway that led to the hallway and front door of his manor. A knock echoed through the thick wood of the large door as his hand grasped the cold brass of the knob. With a twist of the wrist and a sudden jerk, the door creaked open. Eiji's eyes soon met the milky white of the Hokages eyes, and a polite smile crossed his lips. With a bow of the head, Eiji took a step back, further opening the door, gesturing for him and his escorts to enter his home.

"It's been a long time."

He would hold the smile while he waited for a response.

Meeting the kind eyes of the Kazekage, Akuma smiled and pulled off his visor. He took the box from the Anbu behind him and held it with solid grasp.

"So it has been old friend." Akuma said with a pleasant smile. "Shall we make our way upstairs to discuss this meeting?" he said more seriously.

Eiji listened as his fellow kage spoke. He nodded and soon responded.

"That sounds appropriate. I trust you don't mind your escorts staying here while we talk? I assure you, they will be provided with food and water, and a place to rest if need be."

He pivoted on his left foot, and with a quick rise of the arm, extended his hands and fingers to show the way to his quarters. Eiji remained patient as he awaited approval of his proposal involving his escorts. Although they were good friends, their status provided for easy insulting, and he wished to avoid insulting his friend.

"That won't be a problem." Akuma said quickly. With a flick of his wrist he gave signal to the bodyguards to make leave. They did so eager to accept the kindness of the Kazekage.

"Thank you for seeing me on short notice, I'm sure what I have will make this worth while. Now if we may?"

Eiji nodded in appreciation of Akuma's acceptance. He did not reply verbally to his friends words, and instead turned and began to and up the spiraling hall.

"This box you carry must be of utmost importance for you to have made such a journey. "

As he finished speaking, they reached the top of the towering structure. Eiji opened the door to his lavish and spacey office that doubled as his private quarters. The doors to the balcony were already open, allowing the dry Sunagakure wind to fill the room. He stepped aside as he entered so he could close the door behind his company.

"Join me for a drink while we discuss whatever it is that you came for?"

He made his way across the room to a small circular steel table that was centered and secured on the stone balcony. He took the seat to the left, and immediately reached for the bottle of sake' and two glasses that sat in the center of the table. Both glasses were filled with the finely distilled rice wine. The other cup was handed carefully to Akumanome. Eiji would remain quiet and allow the Kage to explain the contents of this box and their meaning.

Entering the office Akuma was quite impressed. Even after all these year Eiji still had taste. Trying not to offend his friend he accepted the drink even though drinking is not a favorite pastime of his. Swallowing the fiery liquid, Akuma met eyes with Eiji.

"Now then I'll bet you're wondering why I'm here, well frankly, I've come to bring a gift.

Raising his hands he grasped the box and with a quick jolt of his own chakra released the seal on the ebony box.
Lifting the lid, the light filled the box revealing a small glass jar containing two eyeballs. The eyes floated in a clear liquid and were spinning inside the jar. Surely the crimson pupils caught the eyes of the Kage.

"I've brought you a reminder of our friendship, thanks to Danzo, I am able to give you two of my most prized spoils, Sharingan."

Eiji watched closely as Akuma lifted the heavy seal on the finely adorned ebony container. A steady hand soon retrieved a glass vile, filled with a green tinted liquid, likely a preservative for what appeared to be two human eyes. He fought back a gasp when Akumanome revealed them to be Sharingan. Upon further investigation, it appeared to be true that the eyes were indeed legitimate Sharingan.

"This is quite a gift you offer me Akumanome, I would be honored to receive them."

His right hand rose from his lap to grasp the cup that was promptly brought to his lips, the contents consumed in a quick chug. Perhaps the alcohol immediately absorbed through the lining of his mouth would help him grasp the depth of the kind gesture. Indeed, the sudden relaxation achieved through alcohol brought his mind to rest. Sharingan would help him perceive the things around him much more effectively, allowing for MUCH more effective use of his Taijutsu and Ninjutsu in combat.

"And if you expect alliance in return, you desire that which you've had all along."

A thin smile presented itself, and a breath was taken to speak again.

"I do hope you intend to stay for as long as possible. I believe you could learn to appreciate my finer forms of entertainment."

A suggestive grin crossed his lips, it was the least he could do to attempt to return a gift. He had quite the selection of Entertainers for Akuma to choose from.

"However, the day is nearly over, and regretfully, I am tired. I will arrange for a transplant in the morning. You may make use of my quarters for the night. You will also find that your guards will be treated in the same fashion. Is there anything else my friend?"

By the look on Eiji's face Akumanome could indeed tell that he was pleased. A smile ran past Akuma's face as he saw Eiji's eye light up. Indeed he had done his part to please the old friend.

"Your allegiance is not what this gift is about, rather a reminder of our friendship. But, I do believe I will take you up on that offer of yours. I'm tired as well and need rest."

Eiji had already presumed this, but out of courtesy had reminded Akuma of their alliance. At one time, Akuma and Eiji had been fierce rivals, always trying with all their wits and physical prowess, to outdo one another in joint village events such as the Forest of Death trial in which both of their teams lost a scroll to one another. It was a reminded of a better, less hectic time in his life. Eiji was finally beginning to feel the full effects of the sake', as it was more potent than normal rice wine. His balance however was unaffected, and he soon stood to his feet. He approached his buddy, politely taking a bow.

" In a few minutes, I will send someone to provide you with bed clothes and anything else you may need or require. Please, feel free to make use of anything you find here, and if you wish to visit a shop around the village, you will find that anything you will require for your return trip will be free of charge."

Eiji went to retrieve the vile on the table, but his hand instead bumped the vile, knocking it off the table. His foot shifted in an instant, and the vile was tapped with the side of his right foot like a hackey-sack with just enough force to send it flying upwards to be level with his face. His right arm jerked in a brilliant flash of speed and precision to snatch the vile from the air in a single fluid swipe. A slight chuckle at his near mishap, and Eiji was off into the room, and he soon dis-appeared down-stairs to reside in his guest bedroom that was just as fit for a kage as any other room in his manor.

PostSubject: Re: The Gift of Doujutsu   The Gift of Doujutsu EmptyMon Mar 29, 2010 2:24 am

Upon waking in the morning, Akuma was well rested. It had been quite some time since he had slept in. Walking through the mansion, Akuma found his men to be ready and awake for the trip home.

Walking out into the fresh Suna air, the wind blowed strongly in a North Western direction. Again walking through the city was not exactly fun. He again found his eyes being met by those of people he knew didnt like him very much. I don't care what you all think, hold tight to your grudges

They went by a small store and received water a food for the trip back. Accepting the offer of Eiji they had to pa nothing for the supplies.

As they reached they gates Akuma looked back and grinned. Goodbye old friend

In the old sand the ninja of Konoha did not walk but rather ran to get back to the village. Walking was for elders, and Akuma was no old man. By doing so they reached the Konoha forest within two hours. Walking through the Market District, Akuma sensed that he was home.

Walking through the door of his mansion a thought came to his headI wonder where he was this morning. He must be having the transplant being done. ha. Good luck friend

With that Akuma began the day with a heaping pile of paperwork. There were alot of missions that needed approval and what not. So with that Akuma was home after bringing quite the gift to his old friend.
