Extra Info
Bio: Shin was born the only son of the megami clan, a clan that was renowned for being excellent in Taijutsu and also for being superb hunters & assassins. His father was very strict and from an early age Shin was forced to undergo rigorous training in taijutsu and lesser ninjutsu which honed him into a very strong fighter in close - mid quarters combat. His mother on the other hand was very easy on him and would often tend to the wounds he would pick up from the days intense training to his father’s chagrin. Eventually Shin reached the age at which mist ninja usually enter the academy and was enrolled by his mother.
At the beginning Shin hated the academy; he found he had nothing in common with the majority of the students there as he considered them whiny and weak. Over the course of his first year in the academy Shin quickly established himself as the most proficient student in both taijutsu and ninjutsu, as well as the least proficient in genjutsu. Because of his prowess in taijutsu and ninjutsu over the course of his 3 year stint in the academy he was continually challenged by the other students and by other self trained ninja who wished to test their skills against him. To this day he has only ever lost 3 matches, all 3 of his defeats having come from older more experienced shinobi than himself.
Upon completing the academy his father revealed to him the reason why he was put through such rigorous training from an early age. He told Shin about how their family carried the bloodline known as “Hageshi Neko” and because of the strain the bloodline would place on the body it was absolutely necessary that carriers of the bloodline be in perfect physical condition so as to reduce the recovery time that they must endure.
Currently he is still in the village of the mist, but he is planning to leave the village soon and travel the world honing his combat skills and gaining experience before he returns to his home and becomes a tracking nin like his father.

Shin strolled carelessly through the east side of the village on a lazy Saturday morning, the sun’s rays just barely penetrating through the thick mist that consistently shrouded the village. “How long are you guys going to keep following me for” he shouted into the mist as he stopped on the bridge that connected the east side of the village with the central village area. Without warning 5 kunai flew out of the mist 2 from the southern end of the bridge and 3 more from the northern end.
“I see you guys finally figured out you can’t beat me one on one” he called calmly into the mist as he leapt over the side of the bridge landing with ease on the ebbing waters of the mist village canals. Within a matter of seconds his ears were greeted with the familiar sound of 5 pairs of feet slapping against the flowing waters as his assailants stepped onto the battlefield. As his opponents came into sight Shin almost cracked a smile. 4 of the people that surrounded him he was certain he could beat with his eyes closed because well... he had done so before but the 5th person that stood before him was an unknown.
Shin surveyed the unknown, his eyes instantly taking in his physical characteristics and his mind quickly calculating what he should be capable of. As shin continued to stare at the boy blank faced he noticed that he had a headband tied to his right arm baring the insignia of the rain village. “So you’re Shin huh?” the boy said his surprisingly high voice ringing in Shins ears. Shin nodded, deciding that if he attempted to speak he might break into an uncontrollable fit of laughter at his assailant’s foolishness and this guy’s freakishly high pitched voice. “I’m Mizuro” the boy announced “My Cousin Izuka and his friends say you’ve been picking on them, and I’m going to put a stop to it, right now” he half shouted his high pitched wail this time too much for shin to handle and his laughter erupted from his mouth echoing around the area. After 3 minutes of continuous laughter Shin finally stopped as he was out of breath.
Straightening up he pointed at Mizuro. “First off, I don’t pick on anyone; second, even if I were picking on your cousin YOU are nowhere near capable of defeating me and putting an end to it” he stated before sprinting full force towards Mizuro his speed startling the rain shinobi who stood shocked “And third your voice is ridiculous as hell so please... be quiet” he yelled as he slid to a halt in front of a stunned Mizuro delivering an elbow to his stomach that drove wind, spit and a low grunt from the teens mouth before grabbing the boys top, spinning and tossing him into his cousin who was barrelled over. Shin drew himself up to his regular height “I knew it, didn’t even last 20 seconds” he muttered flicking the stray strands of hair that had fallen into his eyes away from his face before leaping back onto the bridge and continuing his morning stroll, leaving the unconscious Mizuro and the amazed Izuka and co standing on the now still waters of the mist village canals.
