Rain's Fresh Start

Since the "God of Amegakure's" death, the village hidden in the rain has been distraught, without leadership and a proper chain of command, not to mention a lack of resource from the outside world, the Rain village was slowly decaying. People wished for another rule like that of Hanzo the Salamander, they needed someone strong to lead them.

Now a days people huddled in the streets, starving. The other shinobi countries were too busy to come in and help with the administration of this poor war burdened country. Always stuck in the center of things as usual, there was also a lack of ninja which didn't make anything easier. Although things seemed bad, people tried to keep their hopes up, the streets bustling when it rained, it gave the residents a safe uplifting feeling when it rained, like something great was just around the corner.

Taiki listened to the pattering of the rain just outside the lowly lit ramen shop. He sighed contently, it had been awhile seen he'd seen any action but it was fine by him he enjoyed the relaxation. He looked to the old man behind the counter giving him a slight gesture, signaling his need for another cup of sake. He turned around in his seat to take a quick glance outdoors, the streets of the Rain Village were bustling quite oddly for this sort of weather, people shopping, stopping for slight conversation, children splashing in the puddles, odd...for anyone not native to these lands. When it rained it seemed as though the people of Amegakure became more lively, it brought hope to their heart and smiles to their faces.

Taiki turned back around as the old man placed the cup of sake down on the counter, Taiki placed a few Ryu down and drank the sake down quite fast and stood up. Throwing a light cloak over his shoulder and head to keep himself dry, he headed out into the street of his villages, hoping to see a friendly face.
