Name: Shadow Possession Jutsu

What does it do: The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow for as far as it has sufficient area. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements.

Name: Shadow Neckbind Technique

What does it do: After capturing an opponent with the Shadow Imitation Technique, the user can then further extend their shadow up to the target's throat in the shape of a hand, which chokes them to death. Also, if the Shadow Imitation Technique isn't making the opponent copy their movements, this can be used to bind opponent's body in order to restrain them. The closer the user is to their opponent, the tighter the strangle will become. This technique cannot be used for an extended period of time.

Name: Shadow Sewing Technique

What does it do: The user creates tendrils out of their shadow. The tendrils can serve various purposes, such as attacking or binding an opponent(s). After this technique hits someone, it can then be directly transformed back into Shadow Imitation Technique.

Sîn prefers to shape the shadows into blade-like forms and directly stab the enemy with it from various directions at once.

Name: Water Clone Jutsu

What does it do: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body. Additionally, water clones only have one-tenth of the original person's power, as stated by Haku. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.

Name: Water Release: Violent Water Wave

What does it do: Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and washes away the enemy. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases. Having many variations, this is a basic Water Release technique.

Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach using the Body Flicker Technique, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically all ninja know this technique.

Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A small mist cloud is used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and their intended destination.

Name: Spinning Water column jutsu

What it does: The user needs to put his hand on the ground, and by connecting with the underground water reservoirs, he is able make small water columns (about 1 inch diameter) emerge from the earth at various spots on the battlefield. Though not very large and thus hard to hit someone with, the columns emerge from the ground at extremely high speed and with a lot of pressure, and thus they can deal a lot of damage if they hit any part of the body.

Sîn can also use the shadows created by the columns for his other personal jutsus.

Name: Creeping Shadow Jutsu

What it does: By reaching his shadow over to his opponent's eyes, Sîn can disturb what the person sees by controlling its ocular transmitting nerves, modifying vision or inducing total blindness for as long as he can cover the eyes. Closing one's eyes does not help to get rid of the illusions, as not only the sight is affected but the very eye itself.

What it does: Sîn can use his shadows as a mean to put part of his bodies into various other shadows nearby, though he is not strong enough to move his entire body this way yet. He can for example, plunge his hand into his own shadow and have it re-emerge into a nearby tree's shadow.

Name: Eternal Darkness Barrier

What it does: Creates a shadow envelope around a small specific area, blocking any light from entering or leaving the barrier. The barrier can be trespassed by anyone as it doesn't block matter, but there is no way to see what is beyond it aside from walking in it or taking its content out.
